Why Ceramic Coatings Still Need Maintenance

A ceramic coating makes your vehicle easier to clean, adds gloss, and helps protect the paint, but it is not maintenance free. Over time, dirt, minerals, bug splatter, soap residue, and road film can build up on top of the coating.

When that happens, the coating may not feel as slick or bead water as well. Regular maintenance helps keep the coating clean, performing properly, and looking its best.

Do I have to get a ceramic coating to join?

Yes. The Preferred Client Program is designed for ceramic coated vehicles. This allows us to maintain the vehicle safely and consistently.

Can I join if another shop coated my vehicle?

Vehicles coated elsewhere may be inspected before approval. If the coating is in poor condition, a reset detail or correction may be recommended first.

Is this a full detail every time?

No. This is a maintenance service designed to keep an already clean and protected vehicle in great condition. Heavy dirt, stains, pet hair, or contamination may require add-ons or a reset detail.

Does this replace washing my car?

Yes, for most customers. The goal is to let PRYSM handle the regular maintenance so your coating is cared for properly.

What happens if I miss appointments?

If too much time passes or the vehicle falls outside maintenance condition, a reset detail may be required before returning to Preferred Client pricing.
